What is Block You Test?

Block You Test (blockyoutest.com) is a free ad blocker diagnostic tool. One click loads three kinds of bait ads — page elements with ad class names, an image from an /ads/ path, and an ad-network script — and shows you which ones your blocker catches and which ones slip through. It answers a simple question that is surprisingly hard to check by hand: is my ad blocker actually working?

The site launched in October 2026. It runs on Cloudflare, costs nothing, and requires no account.

How the detection works

Ad blockers are three filters stacked together: cosmetic filters hide page elements, URL rules block requests to ad-style paths, and network filters cut connections to known ad servers. The test drops one bait into each layer and watches what happens to it. That is also why the page contains "ads" that are not real ads — they are instrumentation, and blocking them is the whole point.

We do not run a real ad network, track you across sites, or store test results. The test runs entirely in your browser.

A small independent team that builds lightweight web tools. We are not affiliated with any ad blocker vendor, ad network, or platform mentioned in our guides — recommendations are based on published filter lists and our own testing only.
